Uncle Sam Starts to Disclose
The US Government begins to share information from its official files on UFOs and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena with the public.
The Government of the United States began to disclose its official files on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena today, releasing more than 150 document files and 17 images in digital format. The files span the UFO story from post-World War II to recent years.
A cursory examination revealed nothing in the information is proof-positive of visitors from another planet, star, galaxy, reality, or dimension. The files, however, do record the government’s effort to understand UAP and add to the public record information about a real, but little-understood, phenomenon of unknown origin.
The reports include eyewitness reports of “The Impossible” from trustworthy and qualified observers, including military personnel, government employees and highly trained civilians who describe observing unknown object, apparently artificial in construction and under intelligent control. Today’s release also includes photographs and infrared images recorded above the United States and around the nations and oceans of the world.

A remarkable event witnessed by several consultants, scientists and engineers working on a government LiDAR project is highlighted among the files in today’s release. A most sophisticated remote sensing technology, LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) uses pulsed laser light to measure distances precisely to create 3D models of the Earth’s surface. It also can be used to measure objects, areas and environments. Of course, it has critically important military applications.
As they were driving in a number of vehicles, the witnesses saw a very bright light stationary in the sky from which a 130-foot long shiny, copper, metallic object emerged. For about 10 seconds, the thing hovered, emitted a light of its own. Then, it disappeared. The official photograph just releases above includes a drawing of the object by a talented FBI forensic artist.
Their accounts are recorded in the official FBI “302” files of witness reports and investigator observations. Portions of these official documents remain redacted, including the identities of the witnesses and investigators. Readers can appreciate individual privacy and understand the hesitancy of people who recognize their reports in current coverage to go public.
That said, there’s a ton of solid, new and official information. And the public was advised that additional tranches of UAP documents would be released in coming weeks. They show something “impossible” under our current understanding of matter, energy and information. The files also show that the US Government has made a sincere effort to chronicle and study the phenomenon.
